Mondays are for fresh starts!

Each and every Monday we welcome brand new students and absolute beginners to Salsa Beginner Lessons in Houston. Let’s learn the basics of one of the most sociable dances on earth!

👫 No partner needed! Singles and couples welcome! 18+ and up welcome.

⭐️ Ideal for Absolute Beginners with Zero dance experience!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Make new friends, network with people from all walks of life, learn, dance, and have a blast!

Singles rotate, couples can stay together or join the rotation. You’ll make new friends fast!

Get hands-on experience with basic steps, right and left turns, leading and following techniques, basic figures, and easy social patterns. Learn how to groove with the rhythm.

Last but no least, discover the do’s and don’ts on the dance floor.

COURSE SCHEDULE

✓ 7p. Arrive, check-in, drink, dine, meet and greet!

✓ 7:15-8:15p. Salsa Beginner 1. Learn the basics of Salsa, basic spot turns, cross body lead, leading and following foundations. We do a little of Bachata and Merengue as well to warm up.

Small 10 mins break in between levels.

✓ 8:30-9:30p Salsa Beginner 2*. Continue learning Salsa beginner salsa turns and start creating figures and combinations. Little dance experience required.

✓ 9:30-11p Salsa Bachata Social & Practice. Optional but highly recommneded. Practice is key! So stay for the party after the classes to keep on dancing! You will get better each time you dance!

*Note: Beginner 2 is NOT an advance class. It is for returning students that have taken a few Beginner 1 classes before and are still working on their basic steps, turns, and cross body lead. If you never ever danced, start with Beginner 1 and as you get more confident, try Beginner 2. Do not skip levels. Ask instructor for recommendations.
