If you are looking to learn Salsa in Houston, join this class. We cover everything from the basics steps, turns, and foundations that will help you become a graceful dancer. No partner or dance experience required.

We start with the basic steps and variations. How to connect in open and close position. What the rhythm of Salsa is all about; How to identify the music; how to do fun social turns on the dance floor at the beginner level. What to expect to reach a higher level of dancing later.

This workshop is open to all levels: From Brand new students to absolute beginner + to Improver dancers (those that have dance a little before and like to review their basics). This course will give you confidence in your turns, steps, movement, and overall techniques in Salsa.

SCHEDULE

Salsa 101 Crash Course @Z Dance (new place)

2:50pm. Check-in. Be on time.

3-4pm. Basic steps and turns, leading and following tecniques, isolations drills.

4-5pm. Cross Body lead moves and turns.

LEVEL:

101. No experience needed at all. Everything will be broken down step by step. Do not by shy to join alone, we make a circle and rotate from one person to the next. Couples can stay together the whole time.
