SYLLABUS

Level 101 – Cumbia Foundations (Perfect for Absolute Beginners)
Start from the very beginning! In this session, you’ll learn the basic steps and essential moves of Cumbia, including:

• Forward & backward steps
• Traveling patterns around the room
• Side turns, in & out turns, alternating turns
• Basic principles of timing, leading, and following
• Intro to body movement
• Easy social dance figures and combinations (Part 1)

This class is ideal for brand new students or anyone who wants to refresh their foundation.
