Drum roll please! Latin Dance Factory is thrilled to host a Bachata Turns, waves, and dips workshop for men and ladies from all over Houston! We will focus on Sensual style movements and figures to make everyone look amazing, confident, and feel graceful on the dance floor!

We will cover everything from the beginner to advanced techniques, including isolation drills, different turns (spot, traveling, right, left), body movement, and a BONUS: advanced leading/following exercises and tips! Towards the end of the workshop you will put all that you’ve learned into action with a challenging, but fun combo to really anchor in your new skills!

This workshop is open to all levels: From Beginner+ to Seasoned dancer. This course will give you confidence in your turns, steps, movement, and overall techniques in Sensual Bachata.

Note, it helps if you know the basics steps in Bachata. Please join our weekly Tuesday night classes in Midtown at Sable Gate Winery (7pm) or join our Bachata 101 crash course (check calendar) to acquire those skills. Text “Bachata” to 832-413-2623 for more info.

BACHATA TURNS CRASH COURSE SCHEDULE

7-8:30pm. Body movements, leading and following tecniques, isolations drills.

8:30-10pm. Figures, combo, and routines for the dance floor.

10pm-11:30. Social dancing and practica.

LEVEL:

Beginner+ or Improver. It is NOT an advanced level. It is the continuation from level 101. This is for students that are working on their basic steps and turns and have practiced Bachata socially on the dance floor. We will continue to elevate your skills to a higher level. Everything will be broken down step by step.

PRICE

✓ Early Registration: $25 ladies | $35 gents | $50 couples. Early registration discounted price ends one day before workshop.

✓ Door Registration: Door price is $40/person at the door if spots are left.
